MTV Networks Africa today announced that Frankfurt will be the host city of the "2012 MTV EMA," MTV's global awards show that celebrates the year's best in music from every corner of the world. Featuring today's hottest artists and international superstars, the "2012 MTV EMA" will take place at Frankfurt's historic Festhalle on Sunday 11 November 2012 , engaging fans everywhere across MTV's multiple platforms. Following last year's record-breaking show in Belfast, the MTV EMA is returning to Frankfurt for the second time in its history (the show was held there in 2001).
