MTV EMA 2012

MTV Networks Africa today announced that Frankfurt will be the host city of the "2012 MTV EMA," MTV's global awards show that celebrates the year's best in music from every corner of the world. Featuring today's hottest artists and international superstars, the "2012 MTV EMA" will take place at Frankfurt's historic Festhalle on Sunday 11 November 2012 , engaging fans everywhere across MTV's multiple platforms. Following last year's record-breaking show in Belfast, the MTV EMA is returning to Frankfurt for the second time in its history (the show was held there in 2001). The 2012 MTV EMA will air across Africa on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and MTV (DStv Channel 321) in November 2012 . Success in the hip-hop industry means more than putting out a good album. Forbes proves this with their newly released list of the wealthiest figures in hip-hop. As TheSource.com cleverly points out, the list is made up of mostly moguls rather than current musicians – only one of the people listed has released an album within the last year.
