Curren$y’s Dallas House Of Blues performance earlier this week was almost cancelled due to a little Mary Jane. The rapper was detained by police prior to his Stoned Immaculate tour performance, but luckily he was released just in time to make it to the show, where he ironically hit the stage smoking. Curren$y took to Twitter to let out his frustration about the situation saying, “N***az was jus chiefin and bumpin dat new fiend s**t….Then some strangers came thru wit these bracelets that made my arms hurt…” After the incident, he made sure to thank his fans for all their support during the incident, and shouted out the fact that he didn’t “smell no cheap s**t” in the crowd.

Trey Songz has been busy working on his new album titled Chapter V. The crooner recently shot a video for his new song, “Heart Attack,” which should be released soon. Trey told us his love for music prevents him from taking the easy route with his career. Trey Songz recently shot videos for T.I.’s “2 Reasons” and Waka Flocka’s “I Don’t Really Care.” He will also be featured on B.o.B’s new album, Strange Clouds, which drops on Tuesday.

LMFAO performed their new single, “Sorry for Party Rocking,” on American Idol last week. The guys, known for their tongue-in-cheek lyrics, recently told us they are sincere about the meaning behind the song. The duo added that the song eliminates any responsibility they have for causing kids to have too much fun. LMFAO will kick off their Sorry For Party Rocking Tour in Columbus, Ohio on May 22nd. The tour will also feature Far East Movement, The Quest Crew, Sidney Samson, Eva Simons and Natalia Kills.

On Monday, Wiz Khalifa released his new song, "Work Hard Play Hard," which is the first single off his upcoming album, O.N.I.F.C. The Pittsburgh rapper teamed up with Stargate for the track after previously hooking up for Wiz's breakthough single, "Black and Yellow," off his Rolling Papers album. Lane Garrison might be heading to prison -- offscreen. The Prison Break star was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery for a recent altercation with his ex-girlfriend, announced the District Attorney's Office on Thursday. Garrison, 31, allegedly hit Ashley Mattingly in the lobby of her Beverly Hills apartment last week. The actor fled the scene when a bystander approached the pair soon after witnessing the attack. According to Lane's lawyer [via TMZ], the actor was merely reaching for his phone and did not slap his ex across the face. Garrison and Mattingly, a Playboy Playmate, had recently broke things off.
