Jennifer Hudson takes stand, breaks down

Jennifer Hudson took the stand today in the trial of William Balfour, the man accused of murdering her mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew. According to TMZ, the singer and actress broke down into tears as she testified about the final time she saw her family, which happened just days before the slaughter. Hudson began to cry after the prosecutor handed her a photo of her mom. When she regained composure, she told the jury that no one in her family wanted her sister to date Balfour and that she always kept her distance from him. TMZ.com has the latest.
